Review: The Edge Of Never by J.A. Redmerski

The Good: Great plot and character development! I love when those two things are strong in a book. As the story develops, the author gives the reader little clues that gradually reveal the main characters journey and reasons for their actions. Overall this story is sharp and very well written. The plot was not complicated but the setting was new to me, which really peaked my interest. The way the author describes the scenery made it easy for me to transport myself into the main character’s world.

The Bad: At about the 90% mark the book pace changes drastically. It was as if the author was in a rush to get over the conflict and wrap it up. I was very disappointed by that. It is sad that I couldn’t give this book 5 stars because the way that it was rushed. A bit of a shame.

The Ugly: Ugly tears towards the end, you have been warned! If I could have it my way I would have liked to see more detail about the scene before the ending. I can’t get over how empty that made me feel.
Still a great read and I highly recommend it! Available on ebook and paperback at Amazon and Barnes & Noble
For: Mature audience.
